What are your thoughts on this guy I've been told he could be a redcoat okeetee.

If it weren't for those darker checkers I'd have immediately said hypo, but now I'm not sure. Could be red coat? I can't say I have enough experience with RC to positively identify it with any degree of accuracy. What do you know about his parentage? If he's not from Okeetee locality I'd just say he's a pretty normal, though my standards for "Okeetee-phase" are perhaps a bit higher than some.
 
Do you have pics of the sire (Okeetee)? That is not one I would call an Okeetee.

I do see the Hypo look that Laura is talking about, but the checkers in the non wash area look too dark to be Hypo...?

Both parents would have to carry the RC gene in order for any babies to show it.
I don't know if there are any het indicators with RC or not though.

There are others who are better at this, hopefully one of them will chime in.
 
Ah I remember these pics! I saw your post on FB. The general consensus was possible hypo, though I don't remember seeing the darker checks in your other belly photo.
 
Ahahah yeah. I just wanna make sure everyone agree's thought I'd try here as well and see if you guys come to the same conclusion.
