Titus the Dwarf BCI

Pumilio

Rat Monster!!
I know Dean put up a thread of his Dwarf BCI in deep blue, and while I was holding Titus the other day, he started shedding in my hands. I've never held one while it was shedding and it was really neat to see how it goes from looking like normal skin, to flaking and peeling off. Anyway, this is Titus after his shed. His eyes are awesome, and he's great to hold. I love seeing his skin change back and forth from light to dark.

Real nice! Gotta stop looking at threads that are not cornsnake related; that or buy a bigger house to fit more vivs.:grin01:

Actually, I've been considering a Hogg Island Boa. Don't want one that gets bigger than 5 feet.
How big do you anticipate he'll get?:shrugs:

Pretty little snake! I love the browns and tans in BCIs, and now that my girls is starting to hit her growth spurt I'm wishing I had gone the Hogg Island route lol

Actually they really don't get that big, especially the males. He will probably top out at around 5 feet, if that. Dean's might get a little bigger than that, since his is female. Aside from that one random defensive strike, he's been absolutely chill, and he's fun to hold. The skin feels a little silkier than corns, and even the way he moves is different. He curves his neck in an "s" shape a lot, and in a corn I'd think it was defensive body language, but he seems to just enjoy sitting like that.

you know I just don't understand this thought. I have a male RTB that has topped out at 6 feet. Why possibly get a male dwarf if they are just shy of that?

Wow Dean, your fingernails got quite long since your last photo shoot! ;)

It's pretty easy to confuse our arms. Mine are also albino white, and obviously I have dainty fingers! :grin01:

I love the second picture where he's all silvery, and his eyes look like mercury.

Very cool! I really like his colors, so subtle yet amazing!

So yeah, now I know that I really haven't been around lately because since when did Dean get into boids?? *goes to find thread* This must be Elle's influence! ;)
