To Big?

I decided to feed my snake a fuzzy which was about an inch long. My snake is around 10-12 inches long and I guess a normal width (just guessing half an inch). It ate it fine, but I just want to make sure I'm not feeding it anything to big. Pinkys just seem to small. Thanks

If the prey item was less than 1.5 times the girth of your snake, and if the snake doesn't regurge the meal, then it's not too big. Be careful not to feed too frequently when transitioning to a larger prey size. If it's leaving a big lump, give the snake at least five days to fully digest-- maybe even six. This isn't an exact science, so you'll probably be the best person to determine appropriate prey size based on the 1.5 rule, and feeding frequency based on your own snake's feeding/digestion patterns.
