Herping attempt #2 was less successful.... but I did find two interesting creatures. The first is a hatchling tarantula? I don't know very much about the native insects but it was my best guess. Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps it is just a wolf spider?
The second, and most exciting, a juvenile "Many-Lined Skink" Plestiodon multivirgatus.
"No... my tail does NOT give away my hide!"
Other than these two, I saw a few lizards, a lot of wind, wind, and more cold wind.
Thanks for looking!
