After getting cut from the UFC in 2018, Moreno (21-8-2) returned in 2019 and has gone 6-3-2 in the octagon. He is a two-time UFC flyweight champion, going 2-1-1 against Deiveson Figueiredo for gold. "The Assassin Baby" lost the belt against Alexandre Pantoja and a split decision contest in February against Brandon Royval.

Albazi (17-1), ranked third in the flyweight rankings, is on a six-fight win streak. He last fought a year ago, beating Kai Kara-France in a fight many scored in favor of the latter.
