If it makes you feel better, I fed my corn a mouse two or three grams over the size he should be eating and managed fine. Just leave him along a little longer than you normally would after feeding him [emoji4]
I wouldn't worry about what size the mouse is compared to his head. Just try to make sure the mouse is about 1 to 1.5 times as wide as the widest part of the snake. Or if you want to not have to worry about that, you can use a gram scale to weigh your snake and feed him the appropriate mouse size based on his weight.
I did the same thing yesterday. However, he got the mouse down fine, and when I checked him today he looks fine. I'm working on getting a gram scale so I can better tell exactly what size mouse I should be feeding him.
