Too big of food?

So i just upgraded my snake to full size mice. and his first time didn;t go so well

ever since i feed him about a week ago, he has been very lathargic, but most noticable about him is the large amount of saggy skin right behind his mouth, almost like a second chin. The mouse was about 1.5x his size, but does this mean that the mice might have been too big?

Sagging, loose skin in the throat or chin area can be a sign of dehydration. Is the water fresh and readily available? What is your relative humidity?

The appearance of loose skin in the throat area is common in adult size snakes and perfectly normal. Since this is your snake's first adult mouse dinner, he is probably lethargic because he is digesting the large meal. I would be a bit concerned since it has been a week. Are you sure your snake isn't active when you aren't looking? Does it look like he's fully digested the meal? Double check your temps to make sure they're were they should be and didn't change by accident (poop happens).

My snake usually gets saggy skin around his neck just before he sheds, he also goes off food and gets rather grumpy. Dunno if that helped at all?

I've also noticed that when I move from one to two mice, or move up a size, the snake takes longer to digest than previously.
