I have a 20 gallon aquarium for my cornsnake right now. There is a heating pad on one end, and a lamp in the middle. When I have both turned on in the day, the temp. only reaches a high of 73 degrees! I've been told this is too cold, and may be why my little guy isn't eating. I've tried everything to make it warmer, but I guess that's as warm as it gets.
Where I live is quite cold (we already have snow) and at night my room grows quite chilly, and the temp drops quite a bit, even with the heating pad on. Is this dangerous for my snake?
What could I do to make it warmer?
Thanks
