Just be careful with those built in thermostats on space heaters. If they should ever fail, and eventually one will, your whole collection can be cooked. It happened to me in 1992.
I still use an oil filled electric heater with a built in thermostat,..However I have that plugged into a Johnson A419 controller, as a secondary back up should the thermostat on the heater fail. Also the Johnson controller does a much better job maintaining the 82 degree temp I keep the room at.
Reptile Basics sells these units already prewired to a small power strip just plug it in and set your temps. Unlike the Helix Db-1000 and other similar controllers The Johnson handles the 1500 watts that a space heater uses.
For only $80.00 it sure will let you sleep better.
