I made the newspaper, pic and all... :eek1:

It mentions my 132 snakes several times... I hope that my neighbors don't get scared.

Poor Molly... he got better after that visit, but died within the week. The vet surmises that he had a bad reaction to the antibiotics (which he had just finished at this visit) and that he was dying from kidney infection.
I took him in because he had lost 2 pounds in a week and was barely moving.

That vet... she is wonderful. She was so gentle with him, and talked to him in a baby voice... she didn't charge me for the food or force feeding him. She truly loves animals.

I was very heartbroken.... he was my first big snake... and really I was just fostering him, but he had a GREAT personality and I just fell for him.

Thanks for the condolences.

Sorry about Molly. :(
I couldn't help but notice the "creature" and "coils of scales and teeth" comments though. A little annoying because I know if it had been a dog it would have been different but I'm glad it wasn't any worse than that. If anything it highlights the trust in getting that close to it.
