You rang?
I'm in the process of learning about cornsnakes before getting my first.

Several places I've visited sell tools. I've figured out the tongs, the hooks, and the tweezers (feeding, right?) from browsing and reading a manual or two. But the hemostats have me stumped. What are those for?

Thanks for your patience with questions ... and count on lots more for the future! :)

Tools???
I"m a carpenter, I have tools.
I wouldn't go out any buy hooks and tweezer just yet. I would figure out what size of snake first, a hatchling , yearling or an adult first to see what size cage, then a (UTH) under tank heater to fit the cage. water bowel to fit the snake. hides and such.
When you get the snake I think that you laugh that you bought a hook to handle it.
But I think it's better to get the Viv (tank/cage) set up first with good temps reading and all. I glade you are looking for information on it first tho. And if you want to do some reading....... I have just a few links to look at.
