Hi everyone! My name is Abby and I finally brought home my first corn snake today! Its a snow corn snake and it's very young. I was very surprised that he started shedding as soon as I got him home, so I stumbled across this site and signed up here to research care of my new little friend and make sure I'm doing everything right!!! :)

Hope to make some good friends here!

Hi Abby, welcome.
Good stumble, I think this is the place to do your research.
Really, if you read the threads stickied at the top of the forums they cover the basics, especially the Husbandry and Basic Care forum.

Hi Abby :wavey: Welcome to the forum and your new addiction ;)

Hope you enjoy your time here, you'll find lots of helpful, friendly people around the site, so have fun!

Welcome, Abbey!!! Alan and Sue have pointed you in the right direction, so I can't add to that.

However, I will add one highly important point... we all love pics!! So if you can, we'd love to see pics of your corn and you!

Enjoy!!!

Thanks guys (and gals) !! I am hoping to get pics up very soon :) I was just looking at other people pictures and I am just amazed at all the very unique snakes people breed! I knew corn snakes had lots of patterns and colors, but wow!!!

Looks like everyone else has covered the basics... FAQ's, basic care sheets and the fact that we love pics!

so I just wanted to say welcome to the forum!!!!
