My teacher has requested I bring in one of my cornsnakes in return for a extra credit in class. I agreed to do so, after the class convinced me.
Now comes the planning to getting him there, she has a tank he can stay in for the school day, I'll be bringing him in, in a pillow case...for heat as it is quite cold out now. Is it safe to use HotHands-2 Hand Warmers for him? Like put it inside a sock and let him curl around it or whatever...I know they get quite hot, but it feels like that because I use them in -10 degree weather.
(It contains, Iron Powder, water, salter, activated charcoal and vermiculite) Would this be harmful for him? It would only before for about 5 hours he would be exposed to it, and it would be inside a sock.
Oh, I just noticed on the back...it says average temperature 126*F-144*F. The snakes is oh roughly 3 feet, maybe 300 grams give or take.
