Im moving 7 hours away from my present home period. what is the best way to transport my 3yo corn and 7 month old BP. I was thinking just in tupperwear and some sort of heat source? my second part of the question is can I use hot paws as a heat source?

Will you have your heat on in the car? You can put them in a pillowcase and put that inside a styrofoam box (like what is used for shipping). A heat pack can be used, but if the car is kept warm, probably won't be needed. You can ask your local vet to save a styrofoam box that they receive vaccines in for you if time allows. They may even have one already they would give you.

I do pillowcases inside coolers, either the hard kind or the soft lunchbox kind. I add a hot water bottle insulated with paper towel and stick a thermometer probe in between the snake/pillowcase and the paper towel. 104 degree water properly insulated will keep temps between 65 and 85 with a steady decrease for upwards of 8 hours.
