But don't ever leave them in your car without the AC running...
I pack mine like I'm going to ship them, and put a probed thermometer on the snake.
With big boas, I'd put them in bags in big coolers, and the corns in a smaller cooler, if you don't have shipping boxes. I actually would use cold packs, just in case. Or at least have them with you. You need a plan for if your car breaks down- that _has_ happened to me. I was on the turnpike (can't get off) and there was a crash, so they shut it down to get someone life-flighted out. And my thermostat was going out, so I couldn't run AC without the truck moving. But I put the animal in my drink cooler and everything was fine for the two hours I was stuck in 95F no shade.
