i'll be going on a week-long road trip to new york this weekend.
unfortunately, there's no way i can take my snow corn with me and i don't know anyone who could take care of her in my absence :/

i'm also afraid that temperatures might not remain constant because recently it's been getting too hot for some reason D:
also, feeding...? >.>

i don't know what to do :/

Is that Cedric I see in your avatar? I was just having a Mars Volta-fest at home this weekend after not listening to them in ages! Bless wee Cedric and his giant hair!!

Back on topic: Your snake will be absolutely fine without food for a week, even if you normally feed every 5 days or so (I'm guessing you have a hatchling?).

Temps you do want to try and sort out though. How are you heating the viv and how are you reading the temperature? We should be able to figure something out to get that regulated for you before you leave.

yes that /is/ Cedric : ))))
haha i have a Mars Volta (+ some At The Drive-In) fest at home every day!

and yes, she's a hatchling
so do i feed her right after i come back?

and well, right now i haven't been able to find a heating pad because they ran out, so i'm just using a black light and measuring it with one of those temperature thingies for the 'wall' that i found at petco (i don't know what they're called, sorry D:)

I used to listen to bits of Deloused most days, but the problem is when you get to work and start singing odd lines here and there... people don't seem to appreciate them (??!) ;)

Righty ho.. yes your young one will be ok if you feed immediately upon getting home and then go back to your normal feeding schedule.

Do you mean your thermometer is a stick-on one? Those unfortunately are very innaccurate - if you do have one of those, that's probably why you've had erratic temp readings recently. The best thermometers are the ones with probes (so you can measure the temp under the substrate, where it's hottest) but if there is any way you can get a better thermometer before you go away I would strongly suggest it.
