The proven way to lose weight is count calories! It's pretty easy to find an on-line calculator to find out how many you need to eat in a day to lose weight. Then just do it. Exercising even as little as 20-30 minutes a day will REALLY help, too. I'm eating a low-sodium diet right now, which is inherantly low calorie. You might try that! And eat lots of small meals- get off the three meals a day thing if you can. Lowfat vanilla yogurt with fruit in it makes a great morning snack, and they make all kinds of chips, like apple and sweet potato that are low calorie but still satisfyingly crunchy. A good breakfast would be oatmeal with a hard-boiled egg, with milk, with a banana if you're hungry enough to eat all that. The protein makes you feel full longer.
