Well as the title says, I am trying to get better at photography, and figured my mom's 18 MP DSLR is a bit better than my 8 MP point and shoot. So let me know how they are, and tips are greatly appreciated:)

First up, Carmela~
She is around 320 grams and about 39 inches.

And theses few my mom took, while I was learning about the camera. And holding the snakes for shots.

Thanks for lookin, and have a good day:)

They look great Joe :*) The trick to photography is to just keep taking more pictures, trying different settings, different backgrounds. Use the macro setting for closeups. Good stuff man, they really look sweet.

Thanks for the comments Nanci, Kate and Chris.
And thanks Chris for the suggestions(I'll use them more when I have something else, something faster and darker ;))

I tend to like taking pictures outside or in my bathroom above all else. Most other rooms in my house have terrible lighting and make all my pictures come out with a yellow tint.

Also even if you take pictures outside use the flash anyway. It will really make pictures pop.

I normally take tons of pictures before I get one that looks really good. I'm still learning too. But once you get the hang of it you can really make amazing pictures.

Thanks for the comments guys, they are my favorite little snakies! Yes playing with this camera is quite fun to play with.
Thanks you WingedSweetheart for the tips, never thought of flash outside.
And Chris oh how I love those benefits!
