Thanks Tstephe3! That was a Pine snake, part of the pituophis family. He was "a little shy...." hehe.

Sweet.. Never seen one that big. But, I haven't seen many pictures of them either.

I love all the pics. I don't know how you walked away without buying anything... at least I gathered that from your "almost" comment.

I am SURE that I would have bought that spotted Nelsons. Beautiful snakey!

LOL! Thanks Fred! Yes, Kathy and Bill were both there. I sadly didn't see any corns though.
And no, I didn't buy anything. I was tempted multiple times, but ended up leaving with a heat pad and a water dish... it was tough!

i went last year and it was my first expo. personally i thought it was amazing, but some people i talked to described it as average. so i guess its just a personal preference

You know, if you go to the Phoenix show, I'll have to hang out with you. I'm SOOOOOO impulsive and you seem to be the ROCK of Gibraltar in being able to say no! LOL. That way, I'd only leave with what I absolutely NEED. LOL. If I saw that spotted Nelsons... I'd have to have it!

As for the Phoenix Show... The one in November is one that I don't think has happened before... at least the one I'm thinking of. For some reason, I think this one is different. I'll try to get details on it up here on CS.com.

Great pictures looks like it was a good show! Never seen a spotted Nelson's before, that was a really cool looking little snake!
