Turquoise Banded Kingsnake??

Has anyone heard of such a snake? Just curious, because someone called the store I work at and said they had one of only 7 in Canada. I just tried googling it and came up empty, so maybe they have one of only 7 in the world!

I'm thinking it's a grey banded bought by someone who's very gullible! I didn't actually talk to the person, my co-worker did, but from what I could hear, they didn't seem to know a whole lot. They said they were going to be getting a female also, making 8 in Canada, so presumably theirs is a male and they plan on breeding them. The main reason they had called the store was to see if we had kits for snakes, so I'm thinking they are newbies. If I see them, I'll have to ask them some questions.

It sounds like an albino California kingsnake.

Torqouise? If they had said lavendar banded, or something, I would agree, but I've never seen blue or anything close to it in Cali kings. If you've seen that, show me pics, 'cause I want one!:D
