Twitching after feeding

Hello all. My two '02 males have a habit of twitching a bit after a good feeding.

These two have shared a cage since they were hatchlings, have never shown aggressive behaviors, and feed great (we separate them to eat). In fact they're usually found curled together under one hidebox, even though they have 3 to choose from, 2 should be about the same temp.

Anyways, I've noticed a little tic or twitch thing happening after they've eaten and been reunited. They also crawl all over each other. Again, no biting, and they've never regurgitated. Eventually they calm down and curl up. I'm pretty darn sure they're both male, but this almost sounds like some breeding behaviors I've read about.

Anyone have thoughts/suggestions about it?

HI Jess,

the twitching is just one way for them to communicate...snakes are always a bit more active right after feeding...Breeding snake do it also...

Ahhh ...

Thanks for the information! I wonder what they're saying? (Needs sauce, a little too much hair? Have you found the way out yet?)

I would have them sexed agian. I have only seen that with breeding piars or when handlling a male right after a female. but when I warm up my snakes I will put two males together to test it out and get back to this thread to let you know what happens.if someone has not alredy ansered this definitively.

:D my snakes twitch alot after they eat to like when i go to pick them up out of there feeding cage then they settle down. its all good lata:cheers:

My snakes all twitch when breeding, but never after eating. I'll have to agree with the post that said to have them sexed again.
