First part is the actual type and morph, Ive heard so many things including a hybrid (which does not bother me per say, since I am told it will not negativley affect her life span but I would like to know so I can learn about hybrids). The pictures Ive taken have not come out good but they are getting better. Heres the latest ones

or to see them all and flip through to find the best one that might help with my babys type

Second part, here is my husbandry info since I got Streamer.

Does it appear that I am taking well care of her/ him? Is there any hint in the list that I might need to improve on? I am trying to do well by her and would appreciate any insight based on the list. Any constructive critisism or advise is very much appreciated. Thank you for your time. :wavey:

Either no one knows, or they dont want to comment.... please anyone? The thread wont bite..... Streamer may but the thread is harmless

Those are better photos, but they're actually leading me away from some of my guesswork in your other thread (i.e. hybrid suspicions). The saddle-shapes don't look as funky to me as they did in your other shots. She seems a little brighter than I would expect a corn of her age to be, but that's not a clear indicator of anything. I'd call her an amelanistic corn snake for now.

She's eating, crapping, and shedding, so your husbandry can't be too far off. You don't list your temps, but you probably already know they should be in the mid 70s on the cool side and low to mid 80s on the warm side. The only thing I see in your husbandry table that might bear correction is your suspicion that she might be in blue again less than a week after she shed. That would be unlikely. Unless injured, or improperly fed, a corn (or corn hybrid) that age would shed about once per month. This frequency would slowly diminish as the snake matured.

Im starting to think shes a playtapus

My temps are checked twice a day, and always in those ranges. I didnt realize I should write that down as well. Thank you for the tip

Her behaviour is similar to how she was when she first started going into it last time. And her color has dulled since the shed. This is all new to me. Im hoping in time I can look at streamer and know where she is at stage wise.

Thanks for your response. The picture that represents her best is this one, I didnt realize it till I kept studying them.

Well, if it is, be sure to have it sexed by a qualified platypusologist. The males have venomous spurs on their hind legs, so you'd want to be careful of those. :grin01:

I keep telling her the jig is up and to confess to her platypussness she wont listen

She looks like a very pretty Amel. The white borders appear pretty thick too, so possibly a reverse okeetee.

And I just wanna say, props to you for keeping such detailed notes. I usually forget to update mine until a couple days after they eat/shed and they're 2-3 words max. :grin01:

Where did you get her?

If you got her from a specialist breeder then I'm guessing you can go back and they can tell you exactly what she is, but if she's from a place like PetCo my guess is she is a very pretty Amel. Hope that helps :santa:

Thanks all, are there still signs of king snake in her? Shes by far the most beautiful member of our family  lol on the details, I actually toned them down so it didnt look like I stalk her.

King signs...

I don't see any real signs of king in her, but I don't know that much about jungle corns or other hybrid morphs. But I'd say she's a straight up Amel. :santa:

I would say a very bright Reverse Okeetee or a really diverse Creamsicle if it is a hybrid.

Shes pretty bright most the time. Her underbelly is solid white but two shades of white. Split in half like a double white checker board that doesnt match up. I tried to photograph that but to much glare with the flash.

Someone mentioned before her head pattern suggested a king. Also whats that change in her pattern as blocked out in this photo? http://www.flickr.com/photos/lisamariewillbe/315812204/

I love it in her but curious if it has a name and a reason behind the change

I think that's just an aberrant saddle. If you browse through pictures of hatchlings you'll often see connected saddles or half saddles or saddles with a little "arm" reaching out. It's not very unusual, and there really isn't a "reason" other than that's just how the snake looks. Kind of like how each person has a unique fingerprint.

My hypo has 4 or 5 hourglass-shaped saddles on his back. They're really cool looking. No reason, but I hope he passes them on to his future clutches
