And I had to show this photo of "simple pleasures", because I got the idea from another post on here for a very cheap, and very easy, entertainment center for Sammi Snake. She loves her TP swing!!

Thanks, all, for looking!

All I did was take an empty TP roll, put a couple of small holes in one side, thread through 2 pieces of old fly fishing line I had laying around, and attach it to the screen on the lid so that they hang down around 6" from the bottom of the viv. I just tied overhand knots to keep the line from falling back through the screen top.

Very simple, really!

Thanks Chris I think the kids will really like that. I usually find them hanging out around the top of the tank between the screen and tank. I don't like it much but they seem to enjoy it.

By the way Chris, my family and I were out your way in May of last year. How do you stand all that beauty out there. It was incredible. Have you always lived there?

New & Improved Brawny Sling

I like your swing. (will have to add one to Nibblet's home)

I made a Brawny Sling: I took a paper towel roll, cut it in thirds. I strung them on a poseable vine (idea from Sbourget). Then wound plastic vines between the rolls as spacer (when Nibblet was in there, I couldn't see her), and to keep the spaces from getting larger (didn't want Nibblet to fall out).

This is the updated version (used large cardboard tube made for blueprints)

I came out here from NY about 7 years ago, or so. Liked it so much I decided to stay.

Nice idea on the "Brawny Sling". I might try stringing some of my vines across the top like that...

Thanks!

Just to clarify: The vines are twisted BETWEEN the rolls, around the "vine" they're strung on.

You all are so much more creative than me. I just stuck a TP roll to the side of the viv with double-sided tape, and then wound a few peices of foliage through it.
