Mice! They taste so nice!
Any uk members know of the regulations concerning bringing snakes into the uk from europe? My usual supplier has said he can pick me up anything I want from Hamm, etc, but I'd like to go and see for myself. He hasn't told me what regulations, licences, or whatever are necessary. I'm thinking I could combine a weekend break with some snake shopping..............

I belive there are no licneses required you can search through customs pages or email
jerry@reptilekeeping.com or call him on 01305 261302 he should be able to give you all the details you need he got me my snakes he took them to Hamm. Then had a breeder bring them to spain and ship them to me.

No problem,Another thing you could do is of your regular is going there go aswell any thing yu choose to bring back ask him to transport it bk and collect in the uk from him.

That's the thing, he's offered to collect and sell me anything...........but I don't want to pay the shop mark up! Seeing the prices of some morphs is ridiculously high, I want to see if I can have the fun of seeing the show, choosing my own new baby and bringing it home for about the same price!

Yea when you are in germany you will be paying euros so. The price will be slightly higher but is all good either way you might be able to find a breeder there from the uk who will be will to ship it back if there are permits needed.Jerry cole will most probally do it for you. When i got my snakes off him it cost me 110 pounds for the snakes he then charged me another 40 pounds to get them brought from germany to spain. As long as you cover some fuel if you get some one to bring them back its ok other wise you need to travel on a airline that accepts pets.If you drive there shouldn't be any trouble.

Drive over & you'll have no problem bringing them back unless you're getting cobras & vipers :eek1: then you'll need a DWA licence........ Hoping to get over myself.... :)
