Ultra Question

I am a little confused about the ultra gene :(

I am considering purchasing an ultramel anery lav male and an ultra (possibly ultramel) lavender het anery female.

If the female is ultra and the male is ultramel how will that affect the offspring?

More specifically - what would an ultramel anery lav male paired with an ultra lavender het anery female produce? If she was ultramel would the results be different?

Thanks.

This is what I get when I use the MP genetic wizzard
Male = Ultramel, Anerythristic, Lavender
Female = Ultra, Lavender het. Anery

Offspring predicted as:

---------------------------------------------------
1/4 Ultramel, Lavender (het. Anerythristic)
1/4 Ultra, Lavender (het. Anerythristic)
1/4 Ultramel, Anerythristic, Lavender
1/4 Ultra, Anerythristic, Lavender

Male = Ultramel, Anerythristic, Lavender
Female = Ultramel, Lavender het. Anery

Offspring predicted as:

---------------------------------------------------
1/8 Opal (het. Anerythristic)
2/8 Ultramel, Lavender (het. Anerythristic)
1/8 Ultra, Lavender
1/8 Snowpal
2/8 Ultramel, Anerythristic, Lavender
1/8 Ultra, Anerythristic, Lavender

So, the difference is, when she is an ultramel, you also get opal and snopal in the mix.
