For the past few days, he has hid a lot. yesterday his eyes were a milky blue and his skin had a white tinge to it. Today his eyes are back to normal but his skin still has that tinge? I looked but cant see his shedded skin? Is this normal or should his eyes stay blue the whole time?

Thanks

Frank

No, your baby has most likely not shed yet and yes it is normal. It typically takes 3-5 days after the eyes clear for the snake to shed. Be sure your temps and humidity are good, try providing a moist hide and or misting the tank daily, this will help to ensure a complete shed. Also when you do find the treasure your snake leaves behind be sure to inspect the shed making sure the eyecaps where shed as well.

Good luck and keep asking questions there is a wealth of knowledge available through truly herp caring individuals on this site.
