Crazy Herp Chick
hi everyone,
I haven't really decided yet but I was thinking maybe when my snakes older maybe he'd/she'd (dunno the gender yet) like a companyon. Anyway I was consindering stufff like cage sizes money how many and so on. so here are my questions in the following catigories..
1) breeding
How many eggs do cornsnakes lay? and how many hatch. i'm not very content on the idea of having 50 little cornsnakes running around.how many on averge hatch per clutch? the male dosen't eat the female or anything like bald eagles rite? can you have all the little baby snakes togther? do they each need (in the cage)there own hide box or can they cuddle up togther In one really big hide box? do they fight when there baby's? would you need to seperate them form there mum?once breedings over do you have to seperate the male and female?
2)housing newborns
ok first do they need there mum for milk or something? How big should hatchlings be housed in? ( say you put them all togther)? Just checking but temp is susposed to be higher than adults corns temps rite? like around 90-95 warm 83-89 cold and drop a litlle at night?
3)selling
how would you sell them? over the internet? adds? or what works for those of you who are breeders?
thanks

I can only answer one question, since I'm not a breeder. But I do know that corns usually lay 9 to 30 eggs.
