We were led to believe that we had two male corn snakes. The gentleman had difficulty sexing are two snakes and sexed them both as male/ there appearances also suggested that they were male, and it turns out that it is one and one. I have no intentions on incubating the eggs as we dont want any more snakes and i dont wish to sell them. It has only showed in the last two weeks that she is pregnant. We have provided a nest box she was separated from the male before Christmas. I dont know anything about the care of her during her pregnancy she is a healthy weight and age from what i have read but i would like as much information as i can get as i am so worried about her.

It sounds like you have done everything thing you can. Before she lays she will have a prelay shed. Then usually it is up to 15 days later she will lay. Once she has her prelay shed try your best to leave her alone only checking on her once to twice a day. Once she lays the eggs you can remove them. I would recommend freezing the eggs before disposing of them. She will most likely go off food before she lays don't be alarmed if she does. After she lays you can offer her a small meal.

Thank you very much. Does the temp need changing from the norm and do you know how long it can take from mating to laying? She mated around about 13-11-12 she is about 6ft long corn and at the moment weighs 960g she is a rescue so not a hundred percent sure on age but i would hate to think that she was egg bound or something.

I would say that if she mated at the beginning of December than you should he seeing a prelay shed within the next few weeks. Generally mine shed about 4 to 6 weeks after mating so it is about 60 days from mating to eggs. You don't need to adjust temps or anything like that.
