i have gone out of town before and wasn't able to feed my snake for two weeks.i fed him and then after that somthing came up and i missed another two weeks. I feel bad. has anyone ever done that? and what are the signs of an unhealthy snake? (a starved snake?) :shrugs: undefined

Signs?
- Loose skin
- Skinny looking
- Less active
- Visible backbone

They look... unhealthy. ???

Two weeks isn't so bad but if you routinely have to be gone for that period of time, try to find someone to offer your snake a meal or two while you're away.

If that can't be arranged, offer JUST before you leave and the night you get home...

same here, my grandad usually look after my snakes when we go away, but he passed away beginning of last year and last sep when we wnet away i had noone to look after them, my mums friend came round to change their water, but she would never feed them so they were left unhandled and not being fed for two weeks, but thats the very most id leave it and like crazycorn said i wouldnt make a routine of it
