Update on A Dangerous Critter

Seems like the little milksnake that I rescued from my friend's cellar, named Casper by the way, has decided enough eating for the year. It's finally getting cold here in Mass and I guess it's time to let him settle in for his nap. I put him in a ten gallon tank with lots of aspen and a hide and water dish and have placed it in a cool area of my house and covered it all up to make it dark for him.

I guess he will be a lot safer in my house instead of a cellar and if he doesn't want to eat mouses next Spring he'll be a welcome addition to the gardens out front.
