Update, Sad and Happy

I just thought I would update you all on what's been going on with the new snakeys we got a couple weeks ago.
Unfortunately the little (tiny) Anery, that my daughter named AVery didn't make it. I did get him to eat twice, but think he just wasn't big enough or healthy enough. :awcrap:
On a brighter note, we were given a really cool 55 gallon aquarium and stand that I have converted to "Snakeville".
Also, I recently went to Petco to get meds for my sick kitty cat and came across a great deal on an even better Snow Baby. I think he's the sweetest snake I've ever held, and quite stunning too.

Thanks for looking,
Sincerely,
Daneale

i have a 4ft fish tank i would love to turn into a new home for tango, one small problem its full of fish!!! the tank looks great

Thanks Rich and Tanya.
We're pretty sad about the little guy, but I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong, so that helps.

And my intention was not to have a 55 gallon tank, but someone came to me and offered it, and who am I to refuse?! We love it and our new baby snow.

Now, if I could just stop buying baby snakeys.......Not.
I do need to start concentrating on getting the right morphs to go with my very eventual breeding plans though. I'm most interested in coral snows. Don't quite know how possible that is. I guess I'll have to do some more reading and studying when I get the time.

Thanks everyone,
Daneale

Aw, very sad about the tiny baby. Especially hard with a kiddo involved.
The snow is beautiful though. And what a lovely viv!

Thank you Fluke.
Yeah, my little daughter isn't too happy. She got very attached to her little Avery pretty fast.
She's not interested in the Snow; or the Hypo or Amel for that matter. She just misses her little baby. She won't even hold any of the others. Hopefully in time, she can learn to love another snakey as her own.
She lost a kitten once, that she helped deliver (buried in the front yard) and hasn't ever quite gotten over it.

Thanks for the condolences.

Thanks Raven! I hope so too. I think she may be interested in another Anery someday, or maybe it was just that fact that it was a really tiny, almost sickly baby (the "underdog"). That's like her.

Sincerely,
Daneale

Yep. It's true. I've got all three in there right now. I do plan on building something different in the future, but now they're all pretty happy in there.

(And, yes I've done all the research on all of that and know all the pros and cons, for anyone who might be wondering.)

Thanks for asking,
Sincerely,
Daneale
