URGENT!!! how long can eggs stay good outside an incubator

gsnakes

my snow still is,nt ready laying her eggs
and i dont know if i can wait till she,s finished

can i wait another 13 hours before putting them in the incubator
for the first egg that would mean 23 hours outside an incubator
is this harmful to the eggs

Don't worry. If the eggs are in the lay box, then the humidity is fine, and that is one of the big worries about eggs out of the proper container. As long as humidity is high in the lay box they could last for days, if not week or even the whole incubation period in there.

The only other worry is tempature. As long as the temp is above 75 or even 70 (but this is cutting it close in my opinion) and below 85 then the eggs will do fine. Any where above 86 or so is VERY bad, although the eggs can survive a few degrees above that there is no point in risking it.

As long as the eggs are in those conditions they should do fine. Concgrats on the eggs!!

They'll be fine. I incubate at room temp and haven't had issues. I've done this for the past three years. Just make sure the humidity is good and you should be just fine.

ok she is finished
16 eggs

i tryed to remove the snake from the laying box but will only coil up violently aroun the eggs so i will have to get them out tomorrow whem i have help

the temps i dont know what they are in celcius?
humidity should be no problem

75 degrees ferenhiet is about 26.8 celsius

85 is about 33.2

Sounds like a nice clutch!! They can be a little violent, shoving you with their coils, but you may be able to get some out without removing the snake, at least later on when she has moved off the eggs.

just curious, what morph was the father?

i cant get some eegs out
all the eggs are stuck together

but i have someone to help me
in a couple of hours

the eggs are still nice and white

the father is a normal striped/motley

Be sure not to tip or move the eggs on its side from its original laying position, you can run the risk of disturbing the egg and drowning it.

i know thats why i wanted to have a second person to help me
one to remove the snake and the other to keep an eye on the eggs

but the problem was solved very simple
the next day she got out of the laying box herself
