I have a 6 month (guessing)old corn snake and he/she is about 13 in. long and 1/2 and inch around. My family and I are going on vacation for a week and that cuts right into when i feed it. I am a bit worried abou tleaving it behind for this long and I was wonderign if it would be a smart idea to bring it with me. I have a plastic travel container for it (mabye holds 2 gallons). If I were to take it would i put the heat mat on the container or go without it, should i bring the lamp too? Should i even bother bringing it with me? PLEASE!! I really need help here!!

If the last feed was at least 5 days before the day you leave, then feed before you go. If you have your heat mat hooked up to a thermostat, the s/he'll be fine. Just leave an extra little water bowl in there, just in case.
Taking him/her with you would cause unnecessary stress, and is not advised, especially if it's only for a week. Good luck!

okay, I am going to feed it today and then we are leaving in like 3 days. I will feed it as soon as i get home. That will be good, right?

That sounds good to me! Given that time frame, if there's going to be any issues (namely a regurge), you'll know about it, and it won't be stinking up the house when you get back!
