The temperature in my office (Snake Room) is now between 79-83F during the summer. Can I shut off the under tank heaters for the summer? I don't think that digestion should be a problem.

I don't use a heater of any sort right now as I live in the south and it is warm enough for the snake but cool enough at night as well. Make sure it was clean water so it can regulate itself though and change the water often.

You can do the conversions if you like. My big display viv is about 27 on the cool side and 30-32 in the hot spot in the day time and then room temp(about 23) at night. The small tubs aren't really big enough to have a gradient of more than 1 or 2 degrees, so they're about 27 at day and 23 at night. This seems to work pretty well....
