UTH problems

Well Ive had no problem with my UTH giving off heat....but my problem is it keeps falling off/or becoming loose from the bottom off my viv. I placed it like they said, my viv is up on spacers so it doesnt touch the table top.... Does anyone know of a way to keep it stuck? (It seems like it gets so hot that the glue becomes soo gooey it just falls off) Maybe if i put it on a tile, and just put that underneath?

Thanks for the help. As for now, i just check whenever I remember to. but im worried my lil guy is getting less heat than normal. no big changes to the temp from what i see, but i think i just catch it soon enough.

As long as the temp doesn't drop drastically, you should be fine. You might want to go ahead and exchange it tough like Creeper mentioned. If that doesn't work, you should be able to pick up a heat resistant adhesive at a hardware store. The only problem with that is that you might not be able to get it off without destroying the pad.

Well it came in a big kit, and I bought it 900miles away from where I am now... so...I dont think taking it back is an option. I might check out the glue though..I'll be using this heat pad for a while, and if I switch Torque to a bigger viv when he's larger, I will most likely get another snake for this current viv =)

It sure it is a big pain though...I have to go to the hardware store for a ton of other stuff (got a large scale art project due in a month)

you could for sure stick it to a tile
That's what I do and it works great....that way you can move it from one viv to another as you upgrade or change
