I'm having a big temperature problem with my ZooMed UTHs. I have two heaters plugged into a ZooMed "dimmer switch", one for the corn, and the other for my boa. The switch is so far on the low side, if it were moved anymore it would be turned off.
Both heaters continue to climb. The boa's hot side stays at around 95F and the corn's hot side can get up to 100F! I end up having to unplug the corn's UTH for most of the day, which leaves it in the low 80's/high 70's due to my A/C being on.
So the lowest temps I'm able to work with are mid-high 90's. Why is this? I'm not worried about the boa, but the my poor corn is either too hot or not hot enough. :flames:
Does anyone else have problems like this with the dimmer switch? Perhaps I should just plug the corn into a regular outlet and see if that helps. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. :shrugs:
Thanks guys!
