Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

Uth

I don't have a pic, but I put spacers between the UTH and the sweater box which raises the bin about 3/4 of an inch. That way they don't actually have contact with each other, and the bin won't get warped or melted if the UTH is too hot.

Also if i used a sweater box i would have a UTH and UV light that generates no heat but how would i use the UV bulb, do i put a screen on the top??

I know the UV bulb is beneficial but some say you don't need it (I've herd lots of controversy on the topic)?? Do you? will it do harm to their health without it?

THANK YOU AGAIN!!

I going to step out here and burst your bubble.

This is not a good idea. Plastic tubs are not designed to be used with UTHs and certainly not with lights. You are only asking for trouble and the chances that you will injure the animal or potentially cause a fire in your home are quite high.

I'd recommend you stick with an approved glass tank if you're planning on using a UTH and any type of lighting.
