hi everyone, i m ashlyn, i'll have my first corn snake saterday and i just wanna make sure everything's ready for him... i french that why my english is such a rubbish so sorry about it, it's ok if u want to correct me... :)

my question is, i m going to buy a heating mat exo terra, 25W to heat a 20g. i've got a glass viv but it's on a wood surface, so i'll put the UTH between them...

is there any probleme with my installation? do u thing the mat will be hot enough, or maybe too hot so i ll need a dimmer?

thank for answering, i'm a bit worried because i don't want my first snake to feel bad at home... :D

Hi and welcome!

Everything is fine, the heating mat is not too "strong" so there is no risk that tank will break. Just make sure your snake has temperature gradient, so it can choose warmer or cooler side.

Good luck!
