Vacation feeding schedule

One of the reasons we got a snake is that it makes vacation care a lot easier - no kennel needed. But I have a question - we just got back from a week vacation, so Sally went two weeks without feeding. She is about 2 years old, we fed her a small adult mouse on Sunday, July 29. Now we are leaving for another week this Saturday. Should I give her a mouse on Friday before we go or let her go another two weeks without feeding? I am probably paranoid, but our first sweet snake died a couple months ago and I don't want anything to happen to our new pal.

Do she usually feed once everyweek? If not you could always find someone to just plop a mouse in there.

Sure, go a head and feed it. If it isn't hungry yet it won't eat. If it eats a day early that's great too. It really doesn't need to be rocket science. If you miss a week, it's ok.

I actually don't feed around vacations. A week or two is fine for them not to eat. I also don't like to feed right before I leave because just in case of a regurge or something, I don't want a rotting mouse in the cage for a week before I can get to it.
