Vanishing Pattern Butter

We have many more eggs cooking that and hope to get a few more of these, this is just the first one out of the egg. It just hatched today so it hasn't shed and may get a little brighter but probably not much. The dad was a really light colored animal bred for the white to hopefully produce really light colored vanishing pattern butters. Colors are fairly accurate, it is really pale. They were taken in normal sunlight outside on top of a red Hillshire Farms sandwich meat container lid (hey, you use what you can).

All the credit should go to Jeff Sr. of JMG Reptiles. I picked these up on loan from him last spring when he visited. He has performed the years of refinement breedings.
