Hello guys! some of you might remember my 1.0 High pink translucent veild chameleon that I posted photos of earlier this year..

He's kinda mad that I was moving things around in his home..but he seems to be happy hiding in the leaves...IS THIS PLANT TOO BIG FOR HIS ENCLOSURE?

The photos are not great as I just did this and its night time here. I hate using flash when I take photos! haha!
Thanks in advance!

Manda, he may be mad at being disturbed or put in a new environment but I think the plant looks fine. It is not as big as the tree he would be living in if he were wild.

Thank you Wade!! That is what I thought...but I wanted to be sure. They are so touchy...eee.:shrugs:..but he seems happy now that I am out of teh picture.
I put up another vine too for him to sleep on or climb down to the floor with..he likes sleeping in flat spots so I figure one more wouldn't hurt. He has the LARGE Repti-Breeze..but I'm thinking about picking up another one for him and connecting the two....
he's my baby..hahaha..:crazy02:

Nice

Looks good, just make sure there are no pesticides on the plant or in the dirt I always got my plants from reptlile shows because of that.....:)

Is the umbrella plant safe for him to eat should he decide to take a few bites? My veiled chameleons, when I kept them years ago, always liked to take a few bites from their viv foliage, so I made sure I used pothos and hybiscus only as those were the only plants I know are safe. I'm sure there are others, but plants and I do not get along.

I put the plant in the shower and rinsed it well..rinsed the roots and gave it fresh Sphagnum peat moss as soil...covered the soil w/rocks to keep crickets from diggin' it up. I hope it will be okay for him..he's kinda a big boy and plows through things..haha..Thanks for looking!

That plant looks fine! The more plants he has, the more secure he will feel.
I know that, but I didn't want him to feel crowded..Thank you!
