Velcro Pads + UTH...

If your heat mat is going to be running under 90 degrees i wouldent think that there would be a risk IMO...body temp is higher than that. And if your uth gets hot enough to ignite velcro i would be more worried about glass cracking and the substrate smoking inside the viv. :flames:

Best way I've found is to stick the UTH to a piece of ceramic tile, then place the tile up against the viv bottom. No glue, no velcro and easily transfers between viv's.

I say what I did because I have taped UTHs on with duct tape before and the glue on the back of the tape melted and was slippery and nasty after a few weeks at a constant 80 degrees. It doesn't have to be hot to do it if it is running over a period of time.
