Ventilation in Humidity Box

Hey guys I just made a humidity box out of a tupperware container for my snake. The thing is she'll go inside of it but she always leaves her nose close to the entrance. I was wondering if this could be because there is not enough ventilation. I put some damp moss in the container and drilled probably about six small (1/4") holes on the sides of the box and made one entrance also on the side. Do you think I should provide two entrances and drill more holes for ventilation?

The ventilation you've got sounds fine to me. The fact that your snake pokes its nose out is probably just a characteristic. If you make too many holes it will dry out much quicker so I wouldn't recommend it. :).

If you think about it corns are very curious and weary of strange things... its probably just nature that she stays close to the entrance of the hide... I wouldnt worry about it... shes just making sure shes aware of whats happening around her... the ventilation you have sounds fine... I wouldnt change it...

uh what is a humidity box? I can kinda guess but like what is it's exact purpose and how big? how do u make one? If its good then ill make one for my snake so if u know some details on please reply

It's just a box filled with damp moss or similar which aids shedding. It's about the same size as a normal hide but allow some extra space for the moss. You can make one out of an ice-cream tub by simply cutting a hole in it.
