hey guys it's been about 5 days since my corns first feed.(ate 2 pinkies) Since the feed he has defacated, and no longer has lumps. I know that you are not supposed to over feed, and that 2 pinkies a week for a small snake should be enough, but should I offer him more pinkies tommorow? or should I wait until it has been a week? btw the snake is about 15ish inches long.

Thanks,
Mike

A mouse just a bit thicker than the snake, every 5-7 days, should be perfect. Overfeeding doesn't just lead to fat snakes; it can cause some pretty nasty conditions.

Since your snake is so small, every 5 days for a while should be fine. I think that Corncrazy posted about how often she feeds hers based on weight of the snake. Adults definitely need to be fed less often, but hatchlings like yours can do fine. As Flygning says though, you don't want to power feed as it is unhealthy for your snake.

If it's been 5 days then, i say you should have no problem feeding ur snake again. 2 pinkies a week give or take a day or 2 isnt really considered power feeding. You might wanna try a fuzzie but usually i'll wait until the snake is up to eating 3 pinkies.

You also might want to try a peach fuzzie. They're boderline pinky/fuzzie and make great transition food items. Again, once a week should be fine.
