I just wanted to update everyone on Carmen, the one who would only eat anoles. He decided for the last two feedings he didn't want them either so I finally gave up and decided if he does'nt want to eat I can't make him. I waited until it had been 3wks. since he ate then I took a f/t fuzzie and remembered Carol saying she rubbed it in the dirtiest mouse bedding she had.Well it just so happened I'm watching a Ball Python for a friend and have a live mouse waiting for his next meal. I rubbed the fuzzie in the stinky bedding and voila! he ate it immediately. Do you think I'll have to keep a mouse on hand always or will he get used to eating them on his own? :wavey:

Well maybe you could take a few f/t fuzzy and rub them is the same or similar bedding and try to reduce the amount of smell left on them. I mean start with a strong odor one then reduce down to a lesser one. If all possable.
Just a thought. But it's great news that you got the little guy eatting. Good Job.

Keep the bedding when the mouse is fed. Just put it in a ziploc bag or tupperware container, toss the fuzzies as needed in the bedding, and there you go. Hopefully you can get him to eat unscented before long. :)
