"...a simple safe disinfecting spray that is more effective than any of the commercial cleaners in killing bacteria. As a bonus, it is inexpensive!
... All you need is three percent hydrogen peroxide, the same strength available at the drug store for gargling or disinfecting wounds, and plain white or apple cidar vinegar, and a pair of brand new clean spray bottles...
It doesn't matter which you use first - you can spray with the vinegar then the hydrogen peroxide, or with the hydrogen peroxide followed by the vinegar.
The paired sprays work exceptionally well in sanitizing counters and other food preparation surfaces -- including wood cutting boards.
In tests run at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, pairing the two mists killed virtually all Salmonella, Shigella, or E. coli bacteria on heavily contaminated food and surfaces when used in this fashion...
The best results came from using one mist right after the other - it is 10 times more effective than using either spray by itself and more effective than mixing the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in one sprayer...

In the application of Sanitising Corn Snake Enclosures;
Allowing surfaces being disinfected to remain "wet" with your sanitizer for a few minutes sure wouldn't hurt a thing as far as giving time to kill the micro-buggies.
I also would be inclined to say to water (H2O) rinse or wipe dry with a clean towel rather than letting the vinegar/ H2O evaporate dry (an acidic vinegar residue?,maybe?maybe not...)
A 50/50 blend of H2O / white Vinegar with a "kicker", one can use 10 drops (death to germs!) to the liter of Grapefruit Seed Extract (G.S.E.) and shake it well and clean away. Always prepare fresh
or use the "Original Recipe" two bottle method. A third Rinse and wipe bottle of G.S.E. and water could be used and would store well too.
H2o comes in a dark bottle for a reason as it degrades rather quickly (a few days- a week or so ) when exposed to light.
Micro-biology doesn't live here anymore
