Visual Clues to Tell What Gender a Snake Is?

I don't want to pay for a vet to probe it, and I don't want to do it myself either. It is a hypomelanistic corn snake. Does anyone know any visual clues to give a fair estimate on it's gender? Thanks!

Tail length and shape. You can Google for images of "Corn snake gender tail", and several examples will come up, a few from this site. You can also count the scales from the cloaca to the tail tip. Neither of these methods is as sure as popping or probing the snake.

If you want to post a clear picture of the underside of the tail here, we can give you a guess about what sex your snake is.

Okay, here are a few! Sorry for the bad quality images, as I'm using my computer's camera. Also, the total snake's length is about 11-12 inches.

Was your snake hatched this year? Where are you in Colorado? If you are not too far I could probably help you out by popping him/her for you.

Yeah, it hatched this year. And I'm in Montrose, but I think I am going to be taking my baby to the vet soon anyway, so that won't be necessary.

Thanks! I originally named it Ferno, but I think I'm going to change it to Maizey because it is more likely to be a girl than a boy.
