does anyone dust their mice ever with a vitamin supplement, i was woundering if this would be good to slightly dust on a mouse from time to time.

From what I've read about this it's O.K. to supplement as long as it's not done every meal. They also suggest to only dip the rear end in the supplement powder so you don't confuse the snake with strange smells other than normal prey scents.
 
There's another thread on this subject somewhere that just came up. I think most don't supplement. I don't supplement except for my female that just laid and was very thin, and that was only a meal or two. Feeding good quality mice should be enough for them.
 
I agree with MegF supplementing is only really necessary when it's an issue of health, good quality feeders are enough for a happy healthy snake.
