Below is a picture of my viv. I have been searching for a single red led light that I can place inside the mountain to create a soft red glow at night. But I am not having any luck. I used to have a fish tank 10 years ago that had little submerseable lights with suction cups that plugged into the wall. Does anyone know where I can find anything like this?

That would be perfect if it were smaller. I want it the size of like a quarter. I may have to just make it myself. Frys here I come
 
Look at IKEA - I got their dioder lights in my cages and love them. You can change the color, but I keep mine on red. You can buy some that are round and don't put off much light, or long strips that are much brighter. I had both. I like the strips, but the round ones are probably plenty. They are a little expensive - I got mine from an ebay seller.

Easy to install but you'd get more than you need for 1 tank. They were the best deal I could find when I was looking.
 
What I want the led for us to put inside their hide. So at night the inside of the mountain footed red and shines out of the caves. Which is why I need a small dimmer light. But light steps around the top as their main light is good idea. I will look into ikea when I get to work.

Sorry for the spelling. I was on my way to work and using swype. here are some corrections;
us=is
footed=glows
steps=strips
lol wow.
 
Oh wait battery powered aren't they... You could point it down if you bright. To bad no blue, that would be awesome for a water dish, as green for flighty colored fake leaves...
 
I sure hope they aren't battery powered. I want some that plug in. Dangit I gotta contact the seller asap haha. Hope he didn't ship them yet. I read they were 115v I just assumed that was achieved with a plug. I had the same ideas with other colors as well.
 
I have red LEDs in my big snake's viv top. They were too bright with glare, so I made diffuser covers out of the plastic from a white milk jug.
