water bowl / hide idea

Frank the snake

New member
I found a cheep dog bowl from a clearance at my local pet store. Frank kept knocking his old bowl over so I thought this one would be perfect for him.

Frank quickly discovered that he could burrow under the edge and hide underneath. It is his favorite hide ever and he has never spilled his water since!

yeah, I use something like that. It works well and I swear the snake uses it as a humid hide too.

My snakes love love love to hide under those water dishes!
It is great because I feel that I can put on bigger water dishes without sacrificing floor space.

You could always cut a little bit of a "door" hole in there too, but then again if they burrow in and out no need haha.
